Sheen’s ‘car stolen and crashed over cliff’
TV star Charlie Sheen reported his sport utility vehicle stolen yesterday morning, hours before it was found crashed at the bottom of a Los Angeles cliff, TMZ reported.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ the actor reported the vehicle stolen from his home yesterday.
It was not clear if Sheen, 44, knew the suspect.
Authorities were on the scene of the accident, near Los Angeles’ well-known Mulholland Drive.
An investigation was ongoing and no arrests had been made.
The incident is the latest in a recent series of dramatic events for Sheen.
The star of the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men is expected to be charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault in connection to accusations of domestic violence against his wife Brooke Mueller, according to TMZ.
Sheen is accused of pinning Mueller, 33, to a bed, putting a knife to her throat and threatening to kill her while the couple vacationed in Aspen in December.
